Sales Consultant – Immediate Opening
PlanIT Impact (PI) seeks experienced sales person that likes a fast-paced selling environment. Ideal candidates will be those that enjoy a challenge of building a territory from the ground-up; learning a new innovative product along the way; and enjoy interaction with all types of professionals in the building design and construction industry.
- Make multiple goal-based contacts per day/ week/ month via phone, email and mostly web-based appointments to close subscription-based sales to AEC (architecture, engineering and contracting) professionals.
- Will be responsible for majority of own lead-generation with the support of sales and marketing.
- Set sales goals with sales manager for reality-based targets.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product director and technical staff to communicate any feedback from marketplace.
- Attend regional networking functions to help promote PI.
- Some region-based travel may be incorporated as territory grows.
Ideal Candidates will have or be:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of proven success in sales.
- Professional outgoing and fearless disposition.
- Experience in the AEC, SaaS, and/or sustainability industries a plus.
- An interest in a fast-paced, growth environment selling a product that is leading change in the AEC industry. Being a self-starter and a good multi-tasker is key.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A preference to work within a young private firm with a good potential for personal professional growth.
- Good communication skills.
- A proactive interest to learn new things.
- A drive to create positive change in the world.
This position will be compensation of salary base commensurate with experience, plus commission.
